Devinci Spartan 160mm Split Pivot
We are excited to be a part of the new model launch from Cycles Devinci. The Spartan 27.5 / 650b bike was debuted last year in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa at the World Championships under the legs of Steve Smith. Its been a stealth bike with only spy photos floating around at WC events and in the EWS Enduros. The new 160mm travel mini dh rig is a bike with the potential to run a 160 – 200mm fork, SplitPivot technology, and adjustable geometry. The Spartan is completely handmade in Canada and looks to be shipping global from the press release. We have added some PR from Devinci on the news of this new model coming from the World Enduro Series team Devinci / Alltricks.
Our local NorCal hero Mason Bond has been rocking the model for a couple of months and is super stoked on the ride characteristics and predictablity of the geometry, saying “Split Pivot is a game changer on the track.”
The new Enduro team Devinci / Alltricks had the opportunity to ride the Spartanlast week-end for the Enduro des Hautes-Vosges, in France. Here are the impressions of Damien Oton, the winner of the race:
“It’s a big bike, made to ride fast, real fast, with many angles. I am very happy, the Spartan is a great bike!”.
His teammate, Théo Galy, also finished on the podium with a 5th position.
